Renewal and revitalization of the interior and elements of the exterior for exhibition purposes, as well as modern technological solutions for people with disabilities.
Restoration and revitalization activities include three main elements:
- interior restoration works - exhibition hall and workshop for souvenirs;
- restoration works on decorative plastic on the facades;
- facade-art lighting.
The exhibition hall will be restored and renovated for the purposes of innovative permanent exhibition and public attraction. A room is also being renovated, which will be used for a souvenir workshop for children, schoolchildren, students and young people to develop a lasting interest in theater and our cultural heritage.
The object of the restoration activities on the facades are the elements of plastic decoration on the cornices, lunettes, open terraces, window openings, volumetric and pilaster columns, which are compromised and require restoration interventions due to the high degree of danger.
The idea of the artistic lighting project is to make the trend between the main background and the white elements appear in the evening, and the contrast is enhanced. All interventions in the interior and exterior will be carried out on the basis of the inviolability and preservation of all architectural elements of the building, which is an immovable cultural asset of national importance.
The three elements of renewal and revitalization in their entirety will lead to the attraction of specialist and general audiences, the generation of lasting interest in the theatrical cultural heritage and the effective management of the cultural heritage. The project proposal has also thought about the access of people with disabilities, by providing the appropriate technical facilities.
Expected result:
Renewed and revitalized:
- exhibition hall and workshop for souvenirs;
- carried out restoration works on decorative plastic on the facades;
- installed and commissioned facade-art lighting;
- carried out consultations by the partner to attract audiences during the renovation and revitalization of the spaces.
